Kelly Being Fitted For New "ND" Wardrobe

This post from ChicagoBreakingSports.com leaves little doubt that Brian Kelly will be Notre Dame's new football coach. It makes clear that Kelly has already met with representatives of Notre Dame and that he will be taking the job. The article notes that Coach Kelly has not wanted to make it public because he didn't want to distract his Cincinnati players before the game against Pittsburgh, and he didn't want them hearing about it on the news before he had a chance to talk to them at the Bearcats team banquet this Thursday night.

So it appears that we can expect a formal announcement on Friday or very shortly thereafter.

With the amount of misinformation out there and "legitimate" media outlets like ESPN retracting reports left and right, can you really say that "there is little doubt" about anything that doesn't come from the mouths of Jack Swarbrick or Brian Kelly? I agree that all signs point to Kelly at this point, but not just because ChicagoBreakingSports broke the story. Are they affiliated with FootballCoachScoop.com?

Footballcoachscoop is the first to announce that the new coach of Notre Dame football is none other than Obama himself.

The site is a cooperative effort between several big Chicago news organizations, such as the Chicago Tribune. The writer (David Haugh) is employed by the Tribune.

Notre Dame should hire Dick Tomey out of San Jose State and the cradle of coaches Miami (OH).

I think Kelly will fit in extremely well at Notre Dame. He is a very talented offensive mind and a charismatic leader. I feel sorry for the Cincy players that lose their head coach right before they play the biggest game of their lives.
